What we collect
Login details. A phone number (or email, depending on how you signed in) so we can recognise you when you come back.
Profile info. Your name, optional bio, vibe emoji, social or website links, profile photo and any gallery photos you add.
Photos you post. Room chat images, direct message images, shared event album photos and host broadcast media.
Location. Only when you use a location feature — finding rooms near you, joining a room that requires you to be nearby, or turning on auto check-in/out. Location is used at the moment of the check and to compute distance; we don't build a background location history of you.
Room activity. Which rooms you tapped into, when, your chosen visibility setting, any intent tags you picked, messages you send, and requests you submit to a host.
Opt-in visibility
Tapping into a room does not automatically publish you. Each time you join a room you choose whether to appear on that room's guest list, and for how long. If you stay hidden, other guests do not see your profile in that room.
Visibility is per room. Being visible at one event never makes you visible at another. You can end your visibility for a room at any time from that room's page.
Marketing consent is separate
Some hosts run rooms in "venue mode" and can collect contact details for their own marketing. That is a distinct checkbox, separate from tapping into the room. Tapping in never opts you into marketing; you have to tick the marketing box yourself.
To be removed from a venue's marketing list, ask the host directly, or email us at jsarg707@gmail.com and we'll pass the removal request along and delete the record we hold.
How long we keep things
Guest-list entries follow the visibility duration you chose when you tapped in — for example only during the event, 24 hours after, or until you turn it off. Once that window passes, you stop appearing on the room's guest list and past-guests wall.
Messages, album photos and room content persist for the life of the room so the host and guests can look back on it. You can delete photos you uploaded, and hosts can moderate content in their own rooms.
You can remove your profile entirely — email jsarg707@gmail.com and we'll delete your account and associated profile data.
Who can see your data
Other guests see only what your visibility settings expose in a shared room. Hosts see their own room's guest list, plus marketing details from guests who explicitly consented. We don't sell your data.
